Bella Coola Mountain Lodge has partnered with Kynoch Adventures, a second generation family run business operating a variety of tours for our guests and visitors throughout BC's Central Coast & Tweedsmuir Park.
With deluxe tourism lodging at Bella Coola Mountain Lodge,  our partner tour company Kynoch Adventures has created a complete tour package suited to 'adventurous' or 'relaxed' outdoor enthusiasts to enjoy. Summer programs and trips start in June and run through October, with relaxing eco-rafting tours and  informative hiking tours. In the fall Grizzly bear tours are our most popular tours, and best bear viewing is typically between  August 15 and October 15.  These tours are operated in Tweedsmuir Provincial Park.

Grizzly Bear Viewing (August 15 to Oct. 15)

River Eco-Rafting (June 15 to August 15)

Eco-Rafting Adventure tours for viewing black bears Eco-Rafting combines a splash of fast water excitement with an interpretive overview of coastal ecology. 

Suited to all with an interest in ecology and BC's coastal biodiversity, theme topics can range from wildlife & bird watching, plant identification & photography to salmon & forest ecology overviews.

Hiking, Interpretive Walks & More Bears

Hike to Hunlen FallsJoin experienced hiking guides on local trails, interpretive nature walks or more challenging routes throughout Bella Coola and the West Chilcotin. Trails throughout Bella Coola Valley combine old growth coastal scenery with stunning mountain views, scenic river and ocean backdrops and cascading British Columbia coastal waterfalls. With some of the most spectacular scenery in Canada.

Trips can be arranged from half day to multi-day hiking/camplng excursions, including Tweedsmuir Park's Rainbow Mountains & Hunlen Falls. Trips can be arranged for all fitness levels and family groups are welcome!
